Combinatorial Auctions

Research project engineering faster exact solvers for the auction Winner Determination Problem. I built the instance generators and custom branching heuristics and benchmarked them against Gurobi — up to 11x faster on hard mid-size instances, and honestly slower on the largest one tested.

Approximate VCG Manipulation

A game-theory study showing time-limited VCG auction solvers open a profitable bid manipulation: overbidding 5x wins 72–75% of the time when the solver runs at 5–10% of exact solve time, then collapses. Identifies the branch-and-bound “anchor effect” driving the payment gap.

A workspace for developing a TV pilot with a language model, built on the idea that model output is a branch, not an answer. Each step generates competing alternatives; promoting one folds it into the project's canon, which then constrains everything generated afterwards so continuity holds.

An AI-native no-limit hold'em coaching system built on one invariant: the model explains, it never calculates. Equity, pot odds, EV and MDF come from a deterministic layer and are handed to the model as given facts; a separate checker fails any response that cites a figure it wasn't given. Backed by 872 tests.

Chrome extension for asking natural-language questions about the page you're reading, built with a teammate over a year from an embedding-based semantic search prototype through a pivot to LLMs. I owned the text-extraction and highlighting pipeline — clean sentences out of arbitrary DOM, results mapped back onto live page nodes — plus deployment and the test suite.

C++ graph algorithms project analyzing Wikipedia connectivity using BFS, IDDFS, and PageRank on the SNAP dataset. The program models the Wikipedia links game by finding paths between pages through internal links.
